Unmanned Automotive

At present, the W01 unmanned automotive developed by QYEV has reached L4 level. It is an L4 level automated driving bus jointly built by CATARC, QYEV, and HIGER. The whole vehicle has no driving position, no steering wheel, no accelerator pedal and brake pedal, no shifting mechanism, and driver is not required to operate the vehicle. All are done by the vehicle itself, completely autonomous driving.

Battery Management System BMS

The BMS research and development team of QYEV is mainly from PPI in California, USA. It has many years of BMS research & development experience in Tesla. It has advanced design schemes, complete laboratories, testing equipment and world-class PACK welding equipment. With the BMS independently developed by PPI team plus high-accuracy current sensor and core algorithm, as well as the strategic cooperation with Toshiba's LTO battery, it enables the power battery system to reach the world's leading level in terms of safety, fast charging, lifetime, and use in high and low temperature environments.

Wind and solar Hybrid System

Using a microgrid composed of solar energy, wind energy, and storage batteries to jointly charge electric vehicles and integrate them into the large power grid at a controllable single point, it can effectively solve the uncertainty and randomness of electric vehicle charging against the operation of the power grid. The reliability of power supply provides a great significance for the exploration of a new interactive mode work between the electric vehicle industry and the microgrid that is convenient, efficient, low-cost, and strong in interaction.

Hydrogen Fuel

With the autonomy and engineering of key technologies, the industrialization layout of hydrogen fuel cell technology has been initially formed. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are the ultimate solution for new energy vehicles. QYEV has started to develop hydrogen fuel vehicles and apply them to the logistics vehicle field.

Scientific Research Achievements

QYEV participated in 25 national and industry standards for new energy vehicles and won the second prize of China Standard Innovation in 2014; undertook and completed more than 45 national, provincial and ministerial projects, confirmed 120 authorized national patents, and obtained more than 15 national, provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
